We explain the mechanics and the likely fit, rather than treating “best” as a universal score. A recommendation should help you decide whether the game belongs in your routine.
Research and hands-on reviews
The first edition uses official listings and publisher information. It does not claim that we have tested a game’s performance, controls, offline behaviour or battery use. Future hands-on reviews should identify the device, game version, test date and scope.
Commercial transparency
No developer has paid for inclusion in this first collection. Current store links are ordinary outbound links. Future advertising, sponsorships and affiliate relationships will be identified where relevant. Games owned by the studio behind Level Lantern will be labelled.
Sources and corrections
Each game guide links to its official sources. Availability and app features can change; the current listing takes precedence for price and compatibility. To report an error, email rooster@levellantern.com with the article link and supporting information. Material corrections should be reflected in the article and its update date.
Artwork and attribution
Game artwork belongs to its respective creators and is used to identify the games discussed. Our lead cover is an original editorial illustration for Level Lantern, not a game screenshot.
